I tend to focus solely on self portraits and manipulations. However I do find myself from time to time trying to slow down a bit. You know, put the tripod away, walk aimlessly with the camera and capture images I normally would not be focused on. It's peaceful, and it opens the mind up.

Something about the dense green and yellows from the Redwood Forest that will never get old. This place is one of my favorites and I cannot wait to go back again.

Ah the famous Redwoods. Right outside of San Francisco. This place truly amazed me, I’ve never felt so small and captivated at the same time. A place of beauty, of growth and history if you ever have the chance to visit them I beg that you take it.

California. Lake Chabot in Castro Valley. I ventured up this steep slope one day off the trails and pavement and I found myself looking up the hill to see the sun just starting to peer over it casting these amazing blinding sun spots. The camera wouldn’t even focus it was so bright I had to try to manually focus. Took a couple of shots.

Imaging owning a house on dune road, Southhampton and this being what you get to wake up too everyday. Slippers, PJs still on in that beautiful June morning light. No I can’t either.

Hampton Bays, down by the inlet. This spot is notorious in this town.

Mosquitos were EVERYWHERE during this shoot. One of my buddies accidentally stepped on a nest and we had to abandon the whole idea after about 3 minutes. I’m glad I got this shot though.

I remember this photograph. The peaceful undertones of the soft morning sun. The only time I’m able to wake up this early is during the winter and colder months when my work is at its lowest. There’s something about grabbing a coffee and going down to the bay, 10-20 degree weather and just enjoying a breathtaking view.
